According to this post, WordPress 3.6 is almost here. Yay!
We’ve been looking for an update for months, and one has been coming for a long time now, only to be pushed back over and over and over again (there may be something to be cautious about this update, due to the fact that it kept getting pushed back, but we won’t know until it does get released).
Of course, we’re not big advocates of “early adoption.” We like to see how others fare before dipping our own toes in the water. We have to tow the line, though, because often times updates are due to security issues that need to be patched right away.
This is why we are firm believers in frequently backing up our WordPress installs.
